I started Weight Watchers on Sunday and have lost almost 2 lbs. so proud of myself! I even started exercising to get more activity points cuz I love my food :P Been doing really well until today. Got into a tiff and well, I ate because I was upset. Of course, now I feel guilty. I suppose I can count the banana bread as points and I’ll probably go over a couple of points which is really no biggie because I have an abundance of weekly points in addition to activity points. Just stressed, that’s all. I was looking forward to the 3 day weekend then crap happens at home. *sigh*
Just wanted to write it out to relieve a bit of stress, thanks for reading.
Stumbling again :) I found this page very, very useful as I get tons of cravings and maybe eating these foods will curb those nasty cravings - http://www.2ndwindbodyscience.com/what%20your%20food.php
at least that’s what this article states. Good to know, I luv bananas - http://www.vitalhealthnews.org/issue4/banana.html
I exercise like 5 times a week for at least half an hour, weekends are off. Now that I got the exercise thing down, I gotta work on portion control and water intake. I have to make a conscious effort to drink water. I stay at home and sometimes I get too involved in stuff around the apt. that I forget to hydrate myself. Any ideas? Also, because I stay home the fridge is easy access, gotta stop grabbing snacks. They’re all healthy, we don’t have sugar or fatty foods, but still, it’s all portion control.
Glad I stumbled across this blog, sometimes oatmeal can get boring and bland. Some of these are more like desserts but there are so many variations - http://www.katheats.com/kaths-tribute-to-oatmeal/
I’ve been Stumbling today for “Weight Loss” pages and have found a few good ones. Here’s another for reference: http://seosfightfat.com/nathaniajohnson/2008/02/22/158-fast-food-meals-for-500-calories-or-less/
Lots of ideas here. A lot of the stuff I already knew, but most of the stuff is new to me. I’m planning on printing it out and reading it a few times a week as a reminder. The sections called “I Eat Healthy, but I’m Overweight. What Mistakes Could I Be Making without Realizing It?” and “What Can I Eat for a Healthy Low-Cal Dinner if I Don’t Want to Cook?” are really gonna help.
I need clothes, very badly. I have ragged tshirts and shorts and I keep telling myself, “why bother to shop if I’m gonna lose weight”? But I’ve been saying that for like a year lol. I went this weekend and didn’t find anything that fit so got depressed. Really, it’s not that I need clothes anyway, I stay at home with my kids and besides grocery shopping, I don’t go anywhere so why bother?
